6 years later from planet I’m still in my room making weird ass songs.
Now these weird ass songs taken me all so many different places around the world it’s wild!
I started making this album in summer 2020 when we were all like wtf is going on right now.
The first song I had was suedeflips! I was trying to use the drill hi hats but not make drill haha I think it worked.
I had the beat from sally’s last dance for a year before I recorded on it.
I had made it in the background of the homies just chilling after listening to a lot of funk stuff.
This album is the feeling when I go back and listen to Fly or Die by N.E.R.D and all the
Neptunes interviews I can’t explain the feeling really but to me this is what it sounds like,
but I the ‘Escape!’ Captures that the Most for me.
Also of ass stuff happened that I got to reflect on March 30th.
Also Nomad really goes into how I just felt like I’ve always had a push back from people who look like me
to not be different and then on the other hand I have people who hate my skin tone who fear me based
on that and would rather I didn’t exist.
Life huh?
Hahaha. Well regardless of who the fuck you are I hope you enjoy this album. :)
